Free upgrades for existing customers
Every existing Jimnet Smart Scales customer is eligible for the firmware v2 upgrade free of charge. Contact Jimnet with your scale serial number and we will provide the appropriate upgrade instructions and support.
Save and share a repeatable chassis setup
Corner weighting is most valuable when the results become part of a repeatable setup record. Firmware v2 makes it easier to save complete vehicle setups, compare the figures after changes to ride height, springs, preload or ballast, and send the results to the people who need them.
Exported reports can be emailed to drivers, engineers and customers and branded with the user’s own company or race-team logo. This provides a useful professional record for workshops, race teams and setup specialists.
User calibration
Owners can now carry out calibration and verification of their own scale pads when required. Correct calibration equipment and procedures must be used; contact Jimnet if you need advice before changing calibration settings.
Android app and touchscreen display coming soon
The current Smart Scales system can be used with iPhone, iPad or its built-in laptop web interface. A new Android app is coming shortly.
We are also developing a dedicated Jimnet touchscreen display for teams that want a ready-to-use workshop or paddock screen without relying on a personal phone, tablet or laptop. More information will be published as the display approaches release.
About the Jimnet Wireless Smart Scales
The system uses four CNC-machined, hard-anodised aluminium pads, each rated to 500 kg. The wireless transmitters are enclosed within the pads, rechargeable 18650 batteries are used, and the application displays individual wheel weights, axle totals, total vehicle weight and corner/cross-weight information.
